Kenneth Gale Babcock

June 16, 1957 — August 28, 2017

Kenneth Gale Babcock, Jr., 60, of Jeffersonville, Indiana, passed away on Monday, August 28, 2017. He was a proud veteran of the United States Marines and a member of the National Rifle Association. Ken loved to golf, play Bingo, and enjoyed doing anything that allowed him to be outdoors.

He was born on June 16, 1957, to the late Kenneth G. Babcock, Sr., and Beverly J. (White) Babcock.

Ken is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Janet (Kelver) Babcock; children, Amy El Alaoui (Jamal), Justin Kelver (Emily), and Kenneth "Kenny" Babcock III (Elizabeth); sister, Laura Hallaxs; brothers, Terry Babcock, Joseph Babcock, and Michael Babcock; and 13 grandchildren.

A Memorial Gathering will be from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 9, 2017, at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). His Memorial Service will then follow at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home. Cremation was chosen following Ken's wishes.
