Kenith Ray Burton

Kenith Ray Burton, 80, of Brandenburg, Kentucky passed away on May 4, 2017 at Baptist Health. He was born in Columbia, Kentucky on February 8, 1937 to the late Russell and Lucy Burton. He was retired from Frito Lay and a veteran of the United States Army.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Michelle Burton; siblings, C.G. Burton, Lindon Burton, Jimmy Burton, Christine Green, Mary Van Scyoc and Dori Stricklan.

Kenith is survived by his beloved daughters, Shawna Burton and Tara (Darren) Bussey; grandchildren, Dottie Bussey, Shawn Burton, Jade Burton, Corey Hayes, Marissa Burton, Matthew Burton, Jesse Burton, Ashley Bussey, Andrew Bussey and Matthew Bussey; great-grandchildren, J.J. Comstock, Serenity Comstock, Kyra Wimberly, Eden Rodriguez, William Burton; and Olivia Burton; siblings, Teresa Franklin and Maxine Hicks; and a host of other family members and friends.

A service to celebrate his life will be conducted on Monday May 8, 2017 at 10:00 am at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway with entombment in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be from 12:00pm until 6:00pm on Sunday at the funeral home.
