Ken Tripp

Ken Tripp, 76, passed away at Baptist Health Louisville on December 26, 2025. Ken graduated from Norwood High School, Norwood, MA in 1967. He then studied Studio Photography at the New England School of Photography in Boston. He has attended nature and landscape photography workshops of such world renowned photographers as George Lepp of Outdoor Photography Magazine, the late Galen Rowell, John Shaw, and Bill Fortney. As a member of the Louisville Photographic Society, Ken felt strongly that it was important to leave a legacy of one’s “body of work” by collecting one’s best images, and memorializing them in book form. That practice was adopted for several years at LPS. A gifted photographer, he enjoyed both the art and camaraderie of competing with the Louisville Photographic Society. He was also a passionate, lifelong Red Sox fan.

Ken dedicated 34 years of his career to GE Appliances in Sales and Marketing, ultimately serving as a Sales Training Manager at the Monogram Experience Center. We were blessed to have him for 76 years, and our faith will sustain us until we meet again.

Ken is survived by his wife of 24 years, Kathy Tripp; daughter, Yvette Harbour; son, Justin Harbour (Laura) of Granger, TX; brother, Gary Tripp (Nancy) of Plymouth, MA; niece, Tina Geniuch (Dennis) of East Bridgewater, MA; three endearing nieces, Melanie and Katie Geniuch, and Emily Counihan of Dedham, MA; and her father, Brendan Counihan; and a host of family and friends.

Ken was preceded in death by his parents, Alton and Helen Tripp of Norwood, MA; and his niece, Amy Tripp Counihan of Dedham, MA.

His Celebration of life will be held on Sunday, March 15, 2026, from 12:00 pm until 4:00 pm with Eulogy beginning at 1:00 pm at The American Legion Post (199 Federal Furnace Road, Plymouth, MA 02360). Friends are welcome to share remembrances of Ken. A display of his photography will follow and guests are welcome to share in refreshments.
