Kelly Ann Cobb

Kelly Ann (Horlander) Cobb, 66, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on April 15th at home, surrounded by her loving family.

Born on February 24, 1960, in New Albany, Indiana, Kelly was the daughter of Mary Horlander. She was the eldest of five siblings, Jim, Dee, Mike, and Melody.

Kelly dedicated many years of service to the United States Census Bureau in Jeffersonville, Indiana. She was a devoted wife to her late husband, Stanley, with whom she shared 35 years of marriage filled with love and commitment.

She is lovingly remembered by her son, Dennis Lynn Jr. (Leann), her grandchildren, Jenna and Kaitlyn (Noel), and her great-grandson, Elliot. She is also survived by her brother, Mike Horlander, along with many nieces and nephews who will miss her dearly.

Kelly was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley; her brother, Jim; her sisters, Dee and Melody; and her mother, Mary.

She found her greatest joy in the simple moments—being at home with her family and spending time with her beloved dog, Boomer.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 22, 10:00am to 12:00pm, with a service to follow at 12:00pm, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions, Southern Indiana Chapel, 3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany IN, 47150, with burial to take place at Kraft Cemetery in New Albany, Indiana.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Women’s Cancer Research.

Kelly will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew and loved her.
