Keith V. Hurt, 66, of Westport, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, December 20, 2020.
He was born on November 13, 1954 in Peterborough, England to the late Donald and Shirley (Piggott) Hurt. He is also preceded in death by his nephew Michael Maier.
Keith was a proud business owner, owning and operating Louisville Wholesale Flooring and LaGrange Flooring. Some of his hobbies included boating, camping, golfing and cooking and entertaining with his wife Janet for family and friends. Keith enjoyed playing the guitar and listening to music especially The Eagles.
Keith is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Janet Lynn Hurt, furbaby son Gunner Hurt, son Christopher Hurt, grandchildren Drake and Arianna Hurt, siblings Karen Ashcraft (Danny), Debbie Holmes, Dee Seitz (George), Sue McCormack (Dale), Al Elliot (Cathy), mother-in-law Sherry Chambers (Jim) and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday, December 28, 2020 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (235 Juneau Drive Louisville, KY 40243).
Visitation will also be from 9:00 am until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 am on Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at the funeral home with burial at Jeffersontown Cemetery.
The family requests that contributions in Keith's memory be made to Dare To Care (5803 Fern Valley Rd, Louisville, KY 40228).
