Listen to Obituary
Louis Keith Christenson, 79, Louisville, went to be with the Lord September 16, 2021, after a long battle with dementia. Keith was born September 12, 1942 to Margaret Jane Dickson Christenson and Wilbur James Christenson. Keith attended Atherton High School for part of his high school years and graduated from the Kentucky Military Institute. He served in the United States Army followed by service in the Army Reserves. Keith worked for many years for the L&N Railroad before the company moved its headquarters to Florida. He then worked for the U.S. Census Bureau.

Keith was a life-long member of St. Mark's Episcopal Church where he volunteered his time providing services to the elderly and others as needed. Keith enjoyed people and was an excellent ballroom dancer. His hobbies included observing and contemplating God's creation of life and the vast universe.

Keith was an only child and a bachelor, but he is survived by many close friends who cared for him and who will miss his kind and gentle spirit.
