Kazimiera "Kay" Lichwa , 94, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, August 11, 2019.
Kay was born on July 10, 1925 in Poland. She is preceded in death by her husband, John Lichwa, Sr., sons; Tom Lichwa, and Tony Lichwa; daughter, Josephine Lichwa, grandchild, David Stoker.
Kay is survived by daughter, Kathy Stoker, son, Walter J. Lichwa, son, John Lichwa, Jr., grandchildren; Lisa (Angela) Stoker, Nancy (Curt ) Johnson, Toni Lynn (Howard) McNemar, Franklin Lichwa, Kevin (Carrie) Lichwa, Lance Lichwa; and great grandchildren, Kayla, Angel, CJ, Ricky, and Mary.
Visitation will be from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, August 15, 2019 and Friday from 9 - 10:30 am at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). Her Funeral Mass will be at 11 am on Friday, at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church with burial to follow at St. Andrew Cemetery.
