Kathy Lynn (Harvey) Kleer

Kathy Lynn (Harvey) Kleer, 57, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away Wednesday, July 18, 2018, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was a retired teacher's assistant from the Floyd County Head Start Program where she enjoyed helping and teaching children. Kathy loved to craft and cook and loved watching her family enjoy the many things she made and cooked for them.

She was born on September 14, 1960, in Jeffersonville, Indiana, to the late Charles N. Harvey and Glenna M. (Gosnell) Click.

Kathy is survived by her husband, Richard "Rick" Kleer; children, Jason Jones (Sara), Jennifer (Jones) Mabon, Hayley Kleer, and Tyler Kleer; grandchildren, Austin, Joshua, Luke, Keri, Mia, Ian, and Emmalyn; siblings, Dave, Robin, Toby, Teresa, Kenny, and Jeff; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 22, 2018, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, Indiana 47150). Her Funeral Service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Monday at the funeral home with burial to follow at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park.
