Kathryn Dee (Wheatley) Shrader, 66, of Palmyra, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, March 14, 2018. She enjoyed music as well as traveling. Kathy was full of life and possessed a forgiving heart. She always chose to be positive and optimistic.
She was born on December 26, 1951, in Louisville, Kentucky, to the late Kenneth and Adeline (North) Wheatley. Kathy was also preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Don Laws.
Kathy is survived by her husband of 35 years, Joseph Shrader, Jr.; siblings, Karen Laws and Kenneth Wheatley (Sue); as well as many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 18, 2018, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Her Graveside Service will take place at 10:00 a.m. Monday at Louisville Memorial Gardens West (4400 Dixie Highway, Louisville, Kentucky 40216).
Contributions in Kathy's memory may be made to Amedysis Hospice (305 Quartermaster Court, Jeffersonville, Indiana 47130).
