Kathleen Collins Gregory

Kathleen Collins Gregory, 93, of Louisville, entered into eternity on Thursday, December 4, 2025. Kathleen was born December 1, 1932, to the late Vertie and Montra Collins in Columbia, Kentucky. She was the loving wife of 66 years to the late Charles F. Gregory.

She graduated from Columbia High School and went on to the Kentucky Baptist Hospital School of Nursing. She was a Registered Nurse working for several hospitals with most of those years being spent at Baptist Hospital East until she retired.

Kathleen was a serving care-giver for many neighbors and church friends, an amazing cook, baker of the best chocolate cake, seamstress, gardener, and could pretty much do anything to which she put her mind. She loved and cherished her husband, her children, her grandchildren and her great-grandchild. See also loved serving in her church and community, but most importantly, she loved Jesus.

Surviving Kathleen is her son Charles (Benita) of Salem, IN; daughter Lisa (Kevin) of Franklin, TN; her grandchildren Emily Gabhart, Michael (Madi) Gabhart; her precious great-granddaughter, and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to Eastern Area Community Ministries, a ministry that Kathleen was passionate about.
