Kathleen May Frank

Kathleen May "Katy" Frank, 65, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, February 3, 2018. She was a lifelong resident of New Albany, a 10-year member of the Floyd County 4-H, and a graduate of New Albany High School and Indiana State University where she was a member of Alpha Sigma Iota. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church and enjoyed reading and spending time with her family.

Katy was born on March 20, 1952, in New Albany, Indiana, to the late Thomas B., Jr., and Mary Dean (Tapp) Frank.

She is survived by her daughter, Michelle Frank Kruse (Mike O'Malley); granddaughter, Carrie Kruse; sister, Brenda Frank; nephew, David Frank (Shelley); great-nieces, Lilly and Maddy Frank; and faithful caregivers and friends, Karen and Jim Brown, Lucy Schiller, and Jason Clopton.

Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 8, 2018, at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Her Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, February 9, 2018, at the funeral home with burial to follow at Frank Cemetery in Mauckport, Indiana.

Memorial contributions may be made to Floyd County 4-H/Purdue C.E.S. Educational Fund (Floyd County Extension Office – 4-H, 3000 Technology Avenue, L2110, New Albany, Indiana 47150).
