Katherine Laura (Rodewig) Kemp, 86, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, April 3, 2018. Katherine was a kind and forgiving person who loved caring for others. She enjoyed quilting, sewing, and collecting dolls and truly loved and enjoyed all of her grandchildren.
She was born on August 5, 1931 in New Albany to the late Joseph and Martha (Turner) Rodewig. Along with her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband, Harry Kemp; sons, Danny and Mark Kemp; and several of her siblings.
Katherine is survived by her children, Linda Kumm (Allen), Harry "Doug" Kemp, and Robin Denny (Paul); brothers, Robert and Richard Rodewig; 11 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren; and 7 great-great-grandchildren.
She will be laid to rest at 11AM on Monday, April 9, 2018 at Holy Trinity Catholic Cemetery in New Albany.
