Katherine Loraine (Stone) Grey

Katherine Loraine "Sissy" (Stone) Grey, 87, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on Friday morning, March 31, 2017, at Providence Retirement Home in New Albany. She retired from Kentuckiana Children's Center and was a long-time member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Louisville.

She was born on September 8, 1929, in Louisville to the late John and Katherine (Herbst) Stone. Sissy was also preceded in death by siblings, William, Kenny, and Margarite Stone.

Sissy is survived by her son, John Grey (Michelle); grandchildren, Cory, Nick, Brad, Chelsey, and Christian; and many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 4, 2017, at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) and on Wednesday after 10:00 a.m. Her Funeral Service will take place at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday in the chapel at the funeral home with burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery in Louisville.
