Karon Hosey, 64, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on October 24, 2017.
She retired from Spectera Care as a Quality Improvement Specialist. Karon was an avid fan of the University of Florida, loved to needlepoint and enjoyed reading. At a young age, Karon enjoyed singing with many gospel groups.
She was born on December 8, 1952 in Tampa, Florida to the late Earl Hosey and Frankie (Claridy) Bishop. She was also preceded in death by her great-grandmother Zinnie Claridy.
Karon is survived by her daughter, Mistine Karon Hosey-Brown (Richard), her beloved Babs and Woody and a host of cousins and friends.
Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Saturday, October 28, 2017 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, KY 40243).
Memorial contributions may be made to Saving Sunny Inc. and/or the Kentucky Humane Society.
