Karl J. Jauernik, 77, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, June 4, 2021. Karl was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who loved his family with all his heart. He was an avid fan of the Green Bay Packers and was a collector of vintage coins and stamps. He always loved going to the beach and collecting shark teeth. Karl will truly be missed by anyone and everyone who had the honor of meeting him.
He was born on March 20, 1944 in to Georg and Gerta (Rambald) Jauernik. He is preceded in death by his father, Georg Jauernik and mother, Gerta Tucker; wife, April Jauernik; siblings, Kitty Zimmerman and John Rene Tucker.
Karl is survived by his loving family, daughters, Susan (Bobby) Worman and Dawn (Heather) Jauernik; grandchildren, Matthew Worman, Brent (Brittney) Worman, Justin Worman, Alexis (Brandon) Waddle, and Logan Moore; great-grandchildren, Brayden Waddle and Easton Worman. As well as a host of family and friends to cherish his loving memory forever.
The family has chosen cremation with a memorial service at the beach at a later date.
