Karen Hearnlaye Parkman, 61, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on Friday, October 21, 2016. She was formerly of Worcester, Massachusetts and was born on December 28, 1954 to the late John Sr. and Ruth Hearnlaye. She was a retired Nursing Assistant.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Mack Parkman.
Karen is survived by her siblings, Ruthann Hearnlaye, John (Bonnie) Hearnlaye Jr. and Wayne (Tammy) Hearnlaye; many nieces, nephews and cousins; dear friend, Barbara (Al) Compton and her children, Tia (Chris Bowman) Compton and Earl Kohn; and a host of other family members and friends.
The family wishes to celebrate her life privately. Arrangements under the direction of Newcomer Funeral Home Southwest Louisville Chapel.
