Karen Helene Mooney

Karen Helene Mooney, age 57, of Louisville, passed away on Saturday, April 8, 2017. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl C. Murdock; her daughter, Christina Renee Crenshaw; her parents, Frank and Juanita Watson Mooney; and her sister, Kathleen Mooney Madden.

Karen is survived by her loving children, Shawn Patrick Mooney (Stephanie N. Young), Stephen Michael Mooney (Adrianna), Daniel Vincent Mooney (Sarah) and Amanda Marie Murray (Joshua David Girdley); grandchildren, Sierra Marie Mooney, Marissa Nicole Mooney, Collin Jacob Young, Savannah Lee Young, Cole Vincent Mooney, Chase Edward Mooney, Abigal Marie Higgs, Jackson Clayton Higgs, Bryce Michael Mooney and Wesley Vincent Mooney; several brothers and sisters; and a host of relatives and friends.

Visitation will be 3-8pm on Thursday, April 13, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive in Middletown. A celebration of Karen's life will be at 11am Friday, April 14th at the funeral home.
Burial will take place in Zachary Taylor National Cemetery.
