Karen Jean Drake

Karen Jean "Dolly" Drake, 55, passed away on November 18, 2017. She was a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed making crafts with her grandchildren. Karen and her daughter, Barbie were the best of friends. She will be reunited with her twin sister, Sharon and her father. Karen will be forever missed by her husband, mother, siblings and many family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Jack Buckler; her twin sister, Sharon Finn and niece, Jessica Buckler.

Karen is survived by her loving husband of 33 years, Kerry Drake; daughter, Barbie Jean Drake; step-children, Annette (Scott) Fackler and Stacy Carter; grandchildren, Morgan, Justin, Hannah, Jack, Layla, Cole and Kaylee; great-grandchildren, Landen and Emma; mother, Barbara (Eddie) Lewellyn; siblings, Carol Marie, Donna, Larry (Peggy), Laura and George (Wendy) and a host of extended family and friends.

A gathering will be Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY from 3pm-6pm with a celebration of Karen's life beginning at 6pm.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that expressions of sympathy be made in Karen's memory to Christi Druin.
