Karen Sue Cooper-Dyer

Karen Sue Cooper-Dyer, "Kay Kay", 63, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, May 14, 2021. Kay Kay was a loving and dedicated Mother and Grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Kay Kay loved music, traveling, shopping, and her dogs "Emma Jean", "Ella Bean", "Taco Kraken", "Piper", and "Twinkie". Kay Kay was a child caregiver for many years, and adored all of her kids and their families. Kay Kay will be missed by all who knew her.

She was born on April 27, 1958 in Louisville, Kentucky to Frederick and Marilyn (Goode) Cooper. She is preceded in death by her Son, Joshua Dyer, Parents, and Grandchild, Bradley Dyer.

Kay Kay is survived by her Daughter, Lauren "Nikki" Dyer, Christy Pruitt, Son, Chris Cooper, Granddaughter, Josilyn Dyer, Sister, Teresa Heath, and Brother, Philip Cooper, Nieces, Erica Heath, Kasey Voss, Kayla Cooper, and Keri Cooper, Special Friends who were like family, Karen Wardrip and daughter Olivia Wardrip, Kathy (Dana) Davis, and daughter Heather. Kay Kay also leaves behind to cherish her memory a host of Great Nieces and Great Nephews, Cousins, Friends, and Extended Family.

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, May 20, 2021 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). Her Funeral Service will be at 6:00 pm on Thursday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel.

The family requests that contributions in Kay Kay's memory be made to Kentucky Humane Society.
