It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Karen Cambron, 80, of Louisville, Kentucky, who left this world on Tuesday, October 28, 2025.
The essence of Karen was deeply rooted in love and devotion. She was a remarkable wife, a nurturing mother, a cherished mamaw, a beloved sister, and a true friend. Her strength and bravery as a mother were unparalleled, and she touched the lives of so many around her. For many years, she owned a cleaning business that reflected her commitment to hard work and service. In her leisure moments, Karen found joy in playing bingo, enjoyed the light-heartedness of game shows, lost herself in avid reading, and stimulated her mind with word puzzles. Her warmth was felt through her hugs, and her radiant smile uplifted the spirits of everyone she met. Karen’s presence will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving her.
Born on October 19, 1945, in Erie, Pennsylvania, Karen was the beloved daughter of Cubby and Catherine Culbertson. She is preceded in death by her loving parents and her brother, Dennis Culbertson.
Leaving behind a legacy of love, Karen is survived by her devoted husband of 51 years, John Cambron, her adoring daughters, Susan and Jamie Cambron, and her treasured grandchildren, Madison, Noah, Malakai, and Grace. She also leaves behind extended family and friends who will forever cherish her memory.
For those wishing to honor Karen's life, we invite you to share your memories or leave a special message for her family in the guestbook below. She will always live on in our hearts.
