Listen to Obituary
Justin Ray Woolen, 35, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, February 6, 2021. Justin was avid story teller usually using the medium of Dungeons & Dragons. He held a captive audience amongst his friends and family while leading them through imaginative adventures. As a creative writer, Justin preferred to write amongst friends in a cooperative model as they created worlds and adventures, that if printed would rival novels. He was a passionate soul with a creative spark that would inspire those around him. Justin enjoyed spending time with his wife and being the caretaker for their two boys. He had a jovial personality and was never afraid to do things his own way. Justin will be missed by all who knew him, and had friends and family all over the world.

He was born on August 19, 1985 in Louisville, Kentucky to Donnie and Telia (Miracle) Woolen. He is preceded in death by his Mother, Telia Woolen, and his Grandparents, Ava & Jack Miracle, and Wendell & Ola Woolen.

Justin is survived by his loving Wife of 9 years, Amanda Woolen, Sons, Jasper Allen Ray Woolen, and Elijah Alaric Thomas Woolen, Father, Donnie Woolen, Sisters, Kristy (Mae) Simoneschi, and Nikki (Nathan) Wilkins, Brothers, Daniel "Jamie" Woolen, and Anthony "TJ" (Sara) Gallina, Chosen Brothers, Mitchell Cole, and Scott Hoffer . Justin also leaves behind to cherish his memory a host of Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, Friends, and Extended Family.

A Celebration of Justin's Life will be held at a Later Date.
