June Anne (Peters) Fowler
June 1, 1949 — September 12, 2020
June Anne Peters Fowler, 71, of Lexington, Indiana, left this world on Saturday, September 12, 2020 at Clark Memorial Hospital after a brief battle with cancer.
June was born in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Keith and Lillian Maydwell Peters and was a graduate of Westport High School. June joined the family business of Peters Moving and Storage and became President of the company after her father's retirement. She was currently employed by Archer Services. She and Robert were married in 1992 and were able to spend 28 years together. They enjoyed their time together especially when it involved a trip to the casino for a few hours.
June is survived by her loving husband, Robert Fowler; and her brother, Mark (Barbara) Peters.
A Memorial Gathering will be from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Wednesday, September 16, 2020 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). A brief memorial service will immediately follow at 6:00 pm.
The family requests that contributions in June's memory be made to the American Cancer Society (1640 Lyndon Farm Court, Suite 104, Louisville, KY 40223).
