Julina Eklun Ned, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, peacefully departed this life on December 18, 2025, in Mankato, Minnesota. Born on March 13, 1966, in Tofol, Kosrae, Micronesia, Julina embraced life with an unwavering spirit, leaving indelible marks of love and kindness upon all those fortunate enough to have known her.
Julina was a devoted mother to her children, Lilawati and her husband Aisea, Servina and her husband Starsky, Recklyn, and P.K. She cherished her role as a grandmother to her grandchildren Meleane, Airalynn, Aaliyah, and Leonardo, bringing warmth and joy into their lives. Her love for family was matched only by the strength of her character. Known for her caring nature, Julina not only nurtured those around her, but she also provided unwavering support that made her a pillar in the lives of her loved ones.
She is also survived by her siblings, Desina and Paul, who will carry forward her legacy of love and resilience. Julina’s spirit will also be remembered fondly by many, as she touched the hearts of friends and family alike with her strength and compassion.
Julina will be greatly missed by all, as her absence leaves a space that cannot be filled. A service celebrating her life will take place on January 31, 2026, beginning with visitation at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest Louisville at 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM followed by burial at Beth Haven Cemetery at 3:30 PM.
