Born in Lexington, Kentucky, to Mildred Lightner Dillow and Roy C. Dillow, Julie was a vibrant woman with a zest for adventure. She attended Hanover College, where she was a proud member of the Alpha Omicron Pi sorority; she later graduated from the University of Louisville with a Bachelor of Science in Commerce. She devoted many years of service to Greater Clark County Schools, specifically at River Valley Middle School, as an administrative assistant.
Julie's love of travel took her across Europe, where she delighted in exploring new cultures, savoring local cuisines, and enjoying moments shared with family and friends who traveled with her. As a member of the Red Hat Society, her vivacious nature and sense of humor shone through in multiple clubs and activities, where she had fun playing card games, dominoes and sharing meals. She was never far from Mia, her beloved dog and faithful companion.

Her memory lives on in the hearts of those who knew her, reminding us to strive for betterment while embracing life with love and laughter. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Quintin C. Heun of Louisville, Kentucky.
