Julie Claire Campbell Isham

Julie Claire Campbell Isham, 57, of Corydon, Indiana, passed away on Monday, September 2, 2019.

She was born on March 6, 1962 in Chapel Hill, North Carolina to the late Dr. Edward Merrill Campbell and Claire Irene Campbell. Julie was a retired nurse and physician.

Julie is survived by her Daughters, Rebecah Miller (Paul), Mercedes Isham, and Jesse Isham; siblings, Timothy M. Campbell (Laurie), Bonnie Moore, and Jeffrey A. Campbell (Kathy); and four grandchildren.

Julie earned her Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Louisville after receiving her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Vanderbilt University. She was a skilled medical professional who spent her life in the service of others. Julie was a brilliant, hardworking, and caring physician and mother. She was known for her infectious laugh and incredible work ethic. Julie was a lifelong animal lover and leaves behind her 3 beloved dogs, Bailey, Zoey, and Gracie. She was always generous and caring to anyone around her and will be deeply missed by family and friends.

Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm on Sunday, September 8, 2019 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - East Louisville, (235 Juneau Drive). Her Funeral Service will be at 4:00 pm on Sunday, at the funeral home with cremation services to follow.
