Julia Marlene (Dobbs)Marshall

Julia Marlene (Dobbs)Marshall, born May 3, 1947, passed away unexpectedly at St. Mary and Elizabeth Hospital May 3, 2012. A Louisville resident, she is preceded in death by her mother and father and by her husband, Vance. She loved interior decorating and gardening and was devoted to her family and friends. She is survived by three daughters: Teri (Chuck) Lawson, Michelle Elmore, and Melissa Tuttle; son-in-law, Jeff Elmore; nine grandchildren: Ashleigh (Kenneth) Willoughby; Vanessa Lawson; Mirage, Kaeleb, and Joshuah Elmore; Seth, Raven, and Olivia Tuttle; four great-grandchildren: Nate, Luke, Levi, and Noah Willoughby; two siblings: Richard Dobbs and Denise (Larry) Merz; a sister-in-law: Karen Dobbs; four nieces and nephews: Tom Merz, Amanda (Mike) Fryrear, and Tava Dobbs; two great-nephews: Christopher and Jacob Fryrear; her closest friend, Linda Ferris; and her pomeranian, Da Vinci.
Funeral ceremony will be Sunday, 4:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home. There will be visitation Sunday from 1:00 pm until time of service.
