Judy Jewell Spencer

Oma "Judy" Jewell Spencer, 74, of Louisville, Kentucky, was raised in Caneyville KY as a Teenager. She passed away on Wednesday, January 5, 2022. Judy was a Nurses Aid before her retirement. She met her husband Raymond while working at the hospital, and later worked with him for over ten years at Mercy Academy. They would remain married together for for 38 years. Judy was a loyal and loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Sister and had a deep love for the family.

She was born on October 23, 1947 in Louisville, Kentucky to Louis and Mary (Frankum) Warfield. She is preceded in death by her Husband, Raymond Spencer, and Parents.

Judy is survived by her Son, Chris Spencer, Daughters, Lesley (Terry) Yenner, Belinda Davis, Grandchildren, Brandon Spencer, Valerie Volpert, and Dillon Davis, Great-Grandson, Wesley Walker, Siblings, Brenda Morrison, Linda Warfield, Donald Hardy, Mary Irwin, and Myra Beard. Judy also leaves behind to cherish her memory a host of Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, Friends, and Extended Family.

Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Friday, January 14, 2022 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). Her Funeral Service will be at 1:00 pm on Friday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel with burial to follow at St. Michael's Catholic Cemetery.
