Judy Ann Adkins

Judy Ann (McCubbins) Adkins, age 77, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on October 18, 2021. She had a heart full of love and compassion for her family and friends. She loved spending time with each of them, whether at small gatherings or large family reunions laughing, dancing, telling stories and making some of the funniest memories. She was a mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt who impacted so many lives and will be missed by anyone who had the pleasure of knowing her.

She was born on August 8, 1944 in Summersville, Kentucky to the late Elmer and Belva (Price) McCubbins. She is now in Heaven laughing with her parents, her sister, Debbie Harger, and multiple cousins who we know greeted her with long hugs and excitement.

Judy leaves behind to cherish her memory, her two daughters, Martina (Ray) Cunningham and Christina Pickard; four grandchildren, Michael (Hannah) Cunningham, Brittany (Josh) Shouse, Craig (Courtney) Cunningham, Hailey Pickard; and two siblings, Carolyn (Carl) Simpson, Sue Stanchin.
Judy is also survived by two great grandchildren whom she adored, Trenton Bramer and Asher Cunningham. As well as a host of family and friends to cherish her loving memory forever.

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 25, 2021 from 4:00-8:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY from. Funeral ceremony will be Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at 1:00 pm at the funeral home.
