Judith Dorothy Gaddie

Judith "Judy" Dorothy Gaddie , 87, of Sellersburg, Indiana, passed away on Monday, March 11, 2024. Judy was proud of her faith and loved to spread the word of the gospel. She spent most of her time spreading the gospel's in Louisville and Southern Indiana and devoted her time to prison ministry. Judy enjoyed her spare time with her family.

She was born on September 20, 1936 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Richard and Mary (Novak) Strauss. She is preceded in death by her parents.

Judith is survived by her daughter, Rebecca Whittington; son, Richard (Andrea) Hall; step-son, Kenny (Pam) Hall; step-son, Charles (Ann) Gaddie; step-daughter, Rebecca Gaddie; step-son, Richard (Pam) Gaddie; step-daughter, Linda (Mark) Johnson; step-daughter, Tracy (Larry) Hardin; 17 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; brother, Richard (Sandy) Strauss; and nephew, Craig (Gretchen) Strauss.

Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm on Monday, March 18, 2024 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, Indiana 47150). Her Funeral Service will be at 1:00 pm on Monday, March 18, 2024 at the funeral home with burial to follow at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany, Indiana.

The family requests that contributions in Judith's memory be made to Southern Care Hospice or City Church International.
