Judith G. Stolarz

Judith G. "Judy" Stolarz, 64, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on September 29, 2016. From the time her and her husband met at Dixie Bowl, through all her daughter's college tournaments, her second home was a bowling alley. In her later years, her granddaughters became the light in her life.

Judy was born on January 5, 1952, in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Francis and Oneda (Crews) Kennedy. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Joe Kennedy, sisters, Mary-Ann Ray and Roberta "Bobbie" Brickey; and niece, Diana Ray.

Judith is survived by her husband of 34 years, Michael Stolarz; daughter, Abigail Stolarz; granddaughters, Aiyla and Maylani; brother, Jim "Sonny" Kennedy (Ann); and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.

Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 5:30 pm Sunday, October 9, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home Southwest Louisville Chapel (10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY 40272). A Prayer Service will be held from 5:30 pm to 6:00 pm following visitation Sunday at the funeral home. Her Funeral Mass will be held Monday, October 10, 2016 at 11:30 am at St. Michael's Catholic Church (3705 Stone Lakes Dr, Louisville, KY 40299) with burial to follow at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central (2501 Dixie Hwy, Fort Knox, KY 40121) at 2:00 pm. Gathering will immediately follow at Dixie Bowl.
