Judith Anne Bruce

Judith Anne "Judy" Bruce, age 77 of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on Thursday, April 23, 2026.  Judy was born on July 31, 1948 to the late Morris C. Pitts and Edith M. Morgan Pitts.  She was a graduate of Eastern High School in Middletown.  Judy worked at Blue Cross Blue Shield for over 20 years and also Vivid Impact for 15 years.  She was a member of First Baptist Church of Middletown and recently attended Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.  Judy loved Bingo, Bunco and taking care of senior members of the church.  

Judy is survived by her loving son, Bradford Wayne Branham (Diane); grandchildren, Booke Anne and Braden Michael James; sister, Beverly E. Minnich (Randy); brother, Kevin Pitts (Kelly); nieces and nephews, Julie Boston, David Minnich, Brandon Pitts and Samuel Pitts; and a host of relatives and friends.

A gathering to celebrate Judy's life will be from 5pm to 7:30pm on Thursday, May 7, 2026, with a sharing of memories at 7:30pm all at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions, East Louisville Chapel, 235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, Kentucky 40243.

Memorial gifts may be made to the St. Vincent de Paul Society, Kentucky Humane Society or the charity of donors choice.
