Judith Clement (Hines) Alender, 84, of Louisville, formerly of Owensboro, passed away Friday, November 23, 2018. She was born October 3, 1934, in Mortons Gap, KY, attended Georgetown College, and lived in Owensboro, KY from 1954 - 2016.

Judith loved her family, friends and her church, Third Baptist Church of Owensboro. She was employed by American Cigar, Professional Planning, and the Trust Department of Bank One, now Chase Bank.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. James R. Alender, parents, William and Irene Nourse Clement of Mortons Gap, sisters, Martha Carlson and Ruby Nell Doyle, and brother, Richard Clement.

She is survived by her daughter, Marie Long, and son-in-law, Barney Long, granddaughter, Laura Beth Long, and grandson, Alex Long, all of Louisville, 11 nieces and nephews, their spouses and children, and many dear friends.

Visitation will be Saturday, December 1, 2018 from 10am – 12pm EST at Southeast Christian Church, 920 Blankenbaker Pkwy, Louisville KY. Judith's Celebration of Life service will be at the church at 12pm.

The Lottie Moon Christmas Offering and Gideons International are requested recipients of expressions of sympathy.
