Juanita Roach, aged 87, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 2, 2025. A beloved wife, devoted mother, and cherished great Ama, Juanita's resilience was matched only by her warmth and kindness. Her vibrant spirit playful nature created unforgettable with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who will forever hold her in their hearts. She was a skilled basketball player and a talented musician. Juanita will be deeply missed by all who had the honor of knowing her.
Born on February 19, 1938, in Drew, Mississippi, she was the daughter of Jack and Blanche (Tolar) Cleveland. Juanita is preceded in death by her parents and her dear husband, Daniel Hudson Roach, Sr.
She leaves behind a loving family who will carry on her legacy, including her sons Dan (Lasamoa) Roach, Bob Roach, and Ron (Tanya) Roach. Juanita was also proud of her grandchildren: Daniel (Caydie) Roach, III, Leilani Roach, Alexandra McGehee, Samantha Roach, Noelle Roach, Kaitlyn Roach, Megan Campbell, Alex Roach, and Emma Roach. She was blessed with great-grandchildren Hudson Roach, Easton Roach, Daemian Roach, Atticus Roach, Osiris Roach, Keilani Roach, and Kate McGehee, all of whom will remember her with love and fondness.
In addition to her immediate family, Juanita is survived by a host of extended family and friends who will treasure her memory.
