Juanita Faye (Sexton) Harrell

Juanita Faye (Sexton) Harrell, 77, of Leitchfield, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, April 27, 2021. Juanita was a member of the New Hope Wesleyan Church in Corydon and enjoyed reading the Bible, listening to Gospel and Bluegrass music, and playing cards, especially Euchre. Out of all her pastimes, her favorite was spending time with her family.

She was born on June 2, 1943, in Paris, Kentucky, to the late Pryce Sexton and Bertha Mathis. Along with her parents, Juanita is preceded in death by her siblings, Earl Sexton, Frances Banet, Bill Sexton, Jean Morris, and Dale Sexton.

Juanita is survived by her loving sons, Mike (Tina) Banet, Terry Banet, and Jerry Banet; grandchildren, Kevin Banet, Jessie Banet, Chris Banet, Tyler Banet, Cody Banet, Nick Banet and Briana Manley; 7 great-grandchildren; brother, Ronnie Sexton; and special friend, Sharon Ballew.

Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, May 3, 2021 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - New Albany, (3309 Ballard Lane). Her Funeral Service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 4, 2021, at the funeral home with burial to follow at Edwardsville Cemetery - Tunnel Hill in Georgetown, Indiana.
