Juanita Filbert

Juanita "Pete" Filbert, age 59 of Louisville, passed away Saturday, April 14, 2018 with her loving family by her side. She was a graduate of the University of Kentucky with an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education. Juanita was a teacher for 18 years with Rainbow Nursery School. Her gift to her many friends was her love of embroidery. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lovell and Stella Caudell Preston.

Juanita is survived by her loving husband of 38 years, Timothy; her daughter, Hope Filbert-Wethington; her granddaughter, Grace; sister, Rosealie Reagan (Dave); and a host of relatives and friends.

Visitation will be 2-6pm on Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions, East Louisville Chapel, 235 Juneau Drive in Middletown, with a celebration of Juanita's life at 6pm. Burial will be private.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
