Joziah Treasure Gaston

Joziah Treasure Gaston, went to be with his Heavenly Father on February 22, 2016. He was a ray of sunshine whose smile could brighten your heart. He enjoyed watching Paw Patrol and basketball; especially the Cards. Joziah was extremely loved by his brothers and sister who loved taking care of him. He was the apple of his grandmother's eye, Shayne and his other grandmother, Denise's shining star and brightened her day.


He was preceded in death by his great grandmother, Patricia "Patsy" Borders; great grandfather, Robert "Bob" Borders; great-great aunt, Joyce Gaston; uncle, Jarvis Gaston; great-great uncle, Clarence Gaston and cousin, Kirsten Fraizer.

He is survived by his parents, Julius Gaston and Cassie Carroll; brothers, Julius Gaston, Jr. and Jabari Gaston; sister, Janiyah Gaston; grandmothers, Denise Carroll and LaShayne Gaston; grandfathers, Julius Ford, Bobby Drury and Ronald White; great grandfather, James Frazier; loving aunts, Samantha Carroll, Desiree Smith and Kimberly Drury; uncles, David, Davon and Demetrius; great- aunts, Jamie Carroll and Anita Gaston; great-uncles, Damon Gaston and James David Fraizer; great-grandmother, Katherine Gaston; cousin, Jacob Borders and a host of aunts, uncle and cousins.


Visitation will be February 25, 2016, from 12p-1pm at Newcomer Funeral Home SW Chapel (10304 Dixie Highway) with a celebration of Joziah's life beginning at 1pm.

Burial will be at Bethany Cemetery, 10915 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY
