Joyce Marie (Clark) Shelton

Joyce Marie Clark Shelton, 68, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, May 13, 2020. Joyce loved her family dearly and her greatest joy was being a grandmother to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was born on January 7, 1952 in Bardstown, Kentucky to the late William and Mary Clark. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, John Edward Shelton, Sr.; daughter, Janet Pepper; and her brothers and sisters.

Joyce is survived by her loving sons, David (Patricia) Metcalf, Charles Pepper, Jerry (Angelica) Pepper, Bobby (Jessica) Pepper and Johnny Pepper; brother, David Clark; sisters, Patricia Chesser and Darlene Bond; and her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A Private Visitation and Funeral Service will be held at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). She will be laid to rest next to her husband at Fairview Cemetery in New Albany, Indiana.
