Joyce Shawler, 76, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on December 6, 2016.
Joy was born on October 5, 1940 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late John and Eleanor (Bower) Oehrle. She was also preceded in death by her former husband Ben Shawler.
Joy is survived by her son, Brian (Brynn) Shawler, grandsons Dyllan, Jace, and Lennon, sister Martha White, nieces Cara Hays Brown, Karen White Corpron, and nephews Chad Hays, Corey Hays and Chris White. She was also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Friday, December 9, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home East Louisville Chapel (235 Juneau Drive, Louisville 40243).
