Joyce Ann Riley

Joyce Ann Riley, 86, of Clarksville, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, June 1, 2024. She had a long and successful career as a civil servant, having first worked for the Census Bureau, then transferring to the National Security Agency and eventually retiring from the Louisville Naval Ordinance Station.

Upon retirement, Joyce became the Assistant Activities Director at Riverview Village and later worked at Kohl's Department Store. She was a lifelong animal lover and had formerly attended Depauw United Methodist Church.

She was born on May 17, 1938 in New Albany, Indiana to Aba and Irene (Burks) Riley. Joyce is survived by her brother, Allen Riley and his wife, Joyce Faye; niece, Tammy Blumenberg and her husband, Joseph; nephew, Kevin Riley and his wife, Tarah; great-nephew, Evan Blumenberg; and great-nieces, Brooklynne and Laney Riley.

Joyce's wish was to be cremated and Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) was entrusted with her care. She will be laid to rest privately at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park.
