Joyce Lee(Cornell) Roush

Joyce Lee (Cornell) Roush, 63, of Floyds Knobs, Indiana, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 10, 2016. She was a school bus driver for the New Albany/Floyd County School Corp. Joyce was a member of Floyds Knobs Christian Church and the American Legion Post 42 Ladies Auxiliary in Floyds Knobs. She enjoyed dancing and quilting.
She was born on June 25, 1952, in Hobbs, New Mexico, to the late William and Bonnie (Byrd) Cornell. Joyce is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, David Roush; daughters, Lisa Roush, Christina Weber, and Missy Bounadonna (Dom); siblings, Troyce Cornell and Steven Cornell (Amy); grandchildren, Ryan and Sara Seymour, and Emily and Colton Benge.
Cremation was chosen following Joyce's wishes. A Memorial Gathering will take place from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 19, 2016, at the American Legion Post 42 (4530 Paoli Pike, Floyds Knobs, Indiana 47119). Contributions in her memory may be made to Hosparus-the Community Hospice of Southern Indiana (502 Hausfeldt Lane, New Albany, Indiana 47150) or to the Myeloma Foundation (12650 Riverside Drive, #206, North Hollywood, California 91607).
