Joyce Blunk Hazel

Joyce Blunk Hazel, 85, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, May 7, 2021. Joyce was a devoted mother, grandmother and raised her five children. She was an avid University of Kentucky fan. Joyce enjoyed spending time with her family.

She was born on August 10, 1935 in Louisville, Kentucky. She is preceded in death by her Husband, Bubber Hazel, Parents Frank & Virginia Adams, Sisters, Betty (Don) Dixon, Janet Valentine, and Bonnie Smith, Brother-In-Law, Bobby Sublett.

Joyce is survived by her Daughters, Paula (Jerry) Dennis, Kim L. (Raymond) Sutherland, and Melva (Eddie) Bowman, Sons, Gary (Pam) Hazel, and Kevin (Kim) Hazel, Grandchildren, Chelley, Brian (Mee), Andrew (Holly), Jamie, Brent (Stacy), Michael, Jessica, Jeremy, Kellie, Karrie (Andrew), Brittney, and Jordan (Brittney), Sister, Barbara Sublett, and Brother-In-Law Rod Valentine. Joyce also leaves behind to cherish her memory 11 Great-Grandchildren, 2 Great-Great Grandchildren, and a host of Nieces, Nephews, Friends, and Extended Family.

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, May 13, 2021 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). Her Funeral Service will be at 6:00 pm on Thursday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel.
