Joyce Stephany (Anne) Cope, cherished for 81 remarkable years, left this world gracefully on August 26, 2026, in her beloved Louisville, Kentucky.

Anne's life was a testament to love and devotion as a fiancé, cherished stepmother, and faithful friend. Her professional journey as a medical transcriptionist was complemented by her dedicated years at The American Printing House For The Blind. A true artist at heart, Anne’s passion for painting, drawing, and sculpting was celebrated annually at the Kentucky State Fair.

Her boundless affection extended to her furry companions—Coco, Tommy, Friendly, and Katie-Lynn—mirroring her profound love for all animals. Anne's generosity was woven into the fabric of her life, as she supported causes close to her heart, including the Kentucky Humane Society, St. Jude Children's Hospital, and Catholic Charities. Her faith was deeply rooted in the community of Incarnation Catholic Church.

Born on August 13, 1945, to Samuel and Naomi Cope, Anne was preceded by her parents, her former husband Robert Mintkenbaugh, and step-son William Clark, Jr. She leaves behind her devoted fiancé William M. Clark, Sr., stepchildren Lucille Horensavitz, Verna Holliday, Mimi Moake, Lisa Clark-Brown, and Mark Mintkenbaugh, cousins Mary-Rose Peterson-George and Sheryl Zen-Ruffinen, dearest friend Bridget (Gene) Aubrey as well as many extended family and friends. 

Visitation will be held on September 10, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., with a memorial service commencing at 3:00 p.m. at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel.
