Joy Lee Richardson

Joy Lee Richardson, 50, of Oceanside, California, passed away on May 31, 2016, at her home. She was born on July 1, 1965, in Louisville, Kentucky, to Jerry and Sharon (Maschenik) Richardson. Joy worked in accounting for many years. She enjoyed painting, going to the beach, and spending time with her family and friends.

Joy is survived by her loving children, Jeremy Richardson, and Matthew Phillips; mother, Sharon Trowbridge (Don), father, Jerry Richardson (Shirley); siblings, Kathryn Daniel (Joey), Jeff Richardson (Kristie), step-brother, Daniel Kalchbrenner, and step-sister, Melissa Collins, along with her nieces, Amber Richardson, Lauren Miles, and nephew, Owen Daniel.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, June 8, 2016 from 3-8PM at Newcomer Funeral Home ( 3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, Indiana 47150). Her Service will be on Thursday, June 9, 2016 at 11AM with visiatation before from 9-11AM at Newcomer Funeral Home with burial to follow at Louisville Memorial Gardens West in Louisville, Kentucky.
