Joshua Lee Truitt, age 25 of Smithfield, Kentucky entered eternal life on Friday, December 11, 2020. He was born in Louisville, Kentucky on June 29, 1995 to Roger and Theresa Truitt. He was a talented electrician, enjoyed life and loved motorcycle riding and fishing. He was preceded in death by his brother, Justin Tyler Truitt; his grandparents, Helena and Roscoe Truitt, Jerri and Bob Tyler and Bill Sanford.

Joshua is survived by his parents, Theresa and Roger Truitt; his sister, Sidney Waddell; niece, Avery Truitt; uncle, Keevin Truitt; aunt and uncle, Karen and Greg Burk; cousins, Shelly Job, Carl Meredith and Monica and Shawn Truitt; a host of great-aunts and great-uncles, second cousins and a lot of dear friends.

Visitation will be 9am to 11am on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions, East Louisville Chapel, 235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, Kentucky (in Middletown) with a celebration of Joshua's life at 11am. Burial will follow in Mt. Tabor Cemetery.
