Joshua Scott Badgett, 28, of Mount Washington, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, August 11, 2018.
He was born on April 9, 1990 in Louisville, Kentucky to Kimberly Badgett. He is preceded in death by his Grandfather, Fred Badgett, Grandmother, Donna Badgett, and Step-Father, Donnie Helm.
Joshua's passion in life was singing and playing guitar.
Joshua is survived by his Mother, Kimberly Badgett (Jimmy McMillan), Father, Robert Sawyers, his Brother, Justin Badgett, Sister, Candice Badgett, Step-Sister, Julie McMillan, Uncle, Tracy (Vickie) Badgett, Aunts, Karen Badgett, Sherri (Jerome) Poole, Sue (Tim) Arnett, and Tina Devine, Nieces, Lily Badgett, and Cloey Badgett, Nephew, Ryan Badgett, his Grandmother, Peggy Sawyers, and numerous cousins.
Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, August 17, 2018 and from 9:00 am to 11:00 am, on Saturday, August 18, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). A celebration of his life will be at 11:00 am on Saturday, at the funeral home with burial to follow at St. Stephens Cemetery in Louisville, Kentucky.
