Joseph Edward Wood, 70, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on Sunday, June 18, 2017 at Kindred Healthcare. He was born in Louisville, Kentucky on March 30, 1947 to the late William and Mary Wood. Joseph was Catholic by faith. He was a retired mechanic and a veteran in the United States Army.
Joseph is survived by two children, Christopher Wood and Chadwick Wood; two sisters, Jean Locke and Rita Gentry; and a host of other family members and friends.
A graveside service will be conducted June 27, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central.
