Joseph "Butch" Wheatley, 73, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, January 18, 2021.
Butch worked at American Standard for 25 years and retired from Precision Tool & Die in 2013. Butch was a 1965 graduate of DuPont Manual High School. He served in the Army during Vietnam and was a member of the V.F.W. and The American Legion. Butch was very proud of his family. He enjoyed watching UofL sports, watching his grandkids grow up, and spoiling his dog Angel.
Butch was born on March 9, 1947 in Memphis, Tennessee to Joseph "JB" and Gretchen "Betty" Wheatley. He is preceded in death by his Parents, and Sister, Sharon Brooks.
Butch is survived by his loving Wife of 52 years, Linda Wheatley, Daughters, Tracey Laughlin (Christy) and Melissa Campisano (Tim), Grandchildren: Alex Keeling, Anna Campisano and Jackson Campisano, and sister Beverly Barnes (Lewis).
The family requests that contributions in Butch's memory be made to Hosparus of Louisville.
Because of Covid-19 restrictions, a celebration of Butch's life will be held at a later date.
