Joseph M. Weaver

Joseph M. "Peanut" Weaver, age 55, of Simpsonville, KY, passed away Friday, November 9, 2018 at his home. Joe was a committed follower of Christ. He cherished his family and proudly pursued his best friend and wife, Julie of 35 years, 'til his last breath! Joe never met a stranger or a meal he'd pass up! He dreamed big...especially when it came to winning the lottery. Joe was a lifelong coach, from on the court to the back of a Mary Kay meeting. He invested in relationships, always took the time to listen, and never failed to have arms open wide with a shoulder to cry on. Joe was preceded in death by his father, Robert Weaver.

Joe is survived by his wife, Julie; daughters, Kelly May (Billy) and Mandy Gossom (Ryan); son Joseph Weaver, Jr. (Jessica); mother, Pat Weaver; brothers, Skip Weaver (Cathy) and Darrell Weaver (Karen); sister, Jeanine Gibson (Mark); and 7 grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to Joe's Life Celebration from 4 pm until 8 pm Friday, November 16, 2018 (in Fellowship Hall) and again on Saturday starting at 10am (in Gymnasium) at Simpsonville Baptist Church, 7208 Shelbyville Rd, Simpsonville, KY 40067 with funeral service to follow at 11am.
