Joseph (Joe) Cornell Rebik, 91, passed away Sunday, February 14, 2016.
A 1942 graduate of Lone Oak High School in Paducah, KY, Joe enlisted in the Navy where he became a Senior Chief Petty Officer in charge of the aircraft maintenance division on the USS Wasp CVS 18 before retiring in 1963.
In civilian life, he was a master electrician and in charge of maintenance for an industrial electro-plating company.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ann Rebik Pugh and Frank J. Rebik; two brothers, Glen Allen Rebik of Brownsville, TN, and Earle Francis Rebik of Memphis, TN; and his sister, Grace Rebik Luck of Bartlett, TN.
He is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Norma Owens Rebik of Paducah and Louisville, KY.
