Eaton, Joseph R., 73, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on November 29, 2015.
He served in the 101st Airborne Division of the Army. Joe also volunteered at Saintly Treasures Thrift Shop. Joseph was a member of St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church.
Joseph was born on August 12, 1942, in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Bernard and Agnes Eaton. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Danny Eaton.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Judy Eaton; children, Robin Schwing (Bill), and Mike Eaton (Lisa); grandchildren, Alyssa Eaton, Will Schwing, and Adam Eaton; siblings, Shirley Silva, Terry Duvall (Danny), Patrick Eaton (Vickie); and many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, December 3, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home, (10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville) and from 9 a.m. - 11a.m. on Friday. A funeral service to honor the life of Joseph will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home.
In loving memory of Joe, memorial contributions may be made to JDRF (153 Thierman Ln. #1 Louisville, KY 40207) or Veterans Memorial Hospital.
